Newb - Battle %s Please?

Hey everyone!

I am fairly new to LoZ, and I'm basically baffled about how the battle system works. I don't understand, as I get higher, my winning probabilities have got less. What do all the numbers mean? +3% or -3% which is the better?!

Well what are you talking about exactly? There are a lot of "percents" in the game, like in the arena, when fighting grues, and when you encounter a maze or puzzle.

When exploring and fighting PvE as well as versus puzzles. I don't really understand why my %s are so low.

Well, first I suggest you check your Fanucco Gambit (check "cards") and tell me how much the points for it are. And try and add up you're skill points for these 4 Body skills.

-Thick Skin
-Brogmoid Hide
-Blood Sponge
-Pin Cushion

They each give you one more health point giving you more time to fight off those nasty grues. And if you're interested in exploring (PvE) and not the arena (PvP) then I suggest after putting in those 4 Body skills build up on your Mind skills. They help very much against traps and mazes and a bit when fighting off monsters.

If the arena then just spend all your skills on the Body Tree they help you build up a defense and an offense against all types of attack stances and defense stances. A great help for any arena warrior.

Those should help "up" your percents against grues and puzzles (remember it matters which skill tree to help you against them!) I don't know very much about the Spirit skill tree though. So just check up on Jolt here for more information.
